Football Megastars - What's it all about?

Football Megastars was launched, by Wacky Web Fun, following the success of Racing Frogs (www.racingfrogs.org) - over 1,300,000 accounts opened during its first two years online. No software is required and it takes just a few minutes a day to play.

Within the game you create, then look after, one football player (not a team). Looking after him means just that: training him, taking him shopping, monitoring his diet and motivation, looking after his fan club, opening his post, managing team transfers and much more (all is very simple - we do not do complicated). Your player can play for a team and who he plays for is down to you. There are twenty leagues with twenty teams in each (400 teams in total). The top league is called the Primary league (then Champs, 1,2,3,4,5 etc.). Teams are made up of other virtual players looked after by other gamers.

Football Megastars is a simple online, multiplayer game that will particularly appeal to the time poor. Tinker with your player once per day (many players follow the philosophy of "check emails, check megastar") and see what happens the next day - and how he compares to other players within the game. No knowledge of football is required - we are talking fame, wealth and celebrity! A player's career can be 300+ gameplay days in length (fifteen years or more in the game). Players join teams and those teams play each other in leagues. Every team in the game plays one football match per 24-hour period.

The game updates rankings and comparisons once per 24-hour period (during the daily server calculations).
